Did you know that the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office has over 350 volunteers that work in daily operations as well as emergency assistance?
Did you know that for the last two years, Yavapai County has been first and second in the most search and rescue missions in the entire state of Arizona?
With just over 8,000 square miles, Yavapai County has some of the most premium lands to live in and explore. At some point, you may find yourself in need of assistance from a member of the sheriff's volunteer auxiliary force.
The Yavapai County Sheriff's Auxiliary Force is comprised of several, 100% volunteer not-for-profit organizations created to assist the sheriff when the need arises. From rescuing stranded or lost persons to assisting with fire evacuations, to working cold cases, these volunteers give their time and talent for the sake of others, saving taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars each year when responding to the call. They train year round to gain and maintain the skills needed to provide assistance, all at their own expense. The following are just a few examples of the various services these volunteers train for and provide as needed:
Volunteers respond, 24/7, day or night, in any weather conditions, to help people like you!
Although the volunteers do well managing their organizations, updating equipment and training can be costly. This is where you come in. We would like to ask that you invest in your community by donating to the Yavapai County Sheriff's Auxiliary Force.
